Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PoolDrift ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Service Description

PoolDrift is a pool chemistry forecasting and tracking tool. It provides estimated chemical dosing recommendations, water chemistry forecasts, and integration with third-party pool monitoring services. The app is intended for residential pool owners and pool care professionals as an informational aid.

Disclaimer

PoolDrift is not a substitute for professional pool service, water testing by a certified laboratory, or manufacturer instructions for chemical products. All chemistry recommendations, dose calculations, and forecasts are estimates based on mathematical models and user-provided data. Actual results may vary due to factors including but not limited to water temperature, sunlight exposure, bather load, equipment condition, and chemical product variations.

Always follow chemical manufacturer safety guidelines. Never mix chemicals. Add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals. Wear appropriate protective equipment when handling pool chemicals.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PoolDrift and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to damage to pool equipment or surfaces, adverse health effects from chemical exposure, property damage, or personal injury.

You use the app's recommendations at your own risk and are solely responsible for verifying chemical doses, testing your water, and maintaining safe pool conditions.

Third-Party Services

PoolDrift integrates with third-party services including PoolMath, Leslie's, and Open-Meteo. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

Subscriptions

Certain features may require a paid subscription (PoolDrift PRO or MAX). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective platform's terms. You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in PoolDrift are the property of the app's developers. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
