PoolDriftPrivacy Policy

PoolDrift ("we", "our", "the app") is a pool chemistry forecasting tool. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Data Storage
All pool configuration, test readings, chemical logs, and forecast data are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or cloud sync. Your data never leaves your device unless you use one of the third-party integrations described below.
Third-Party Integrations
PoolMath — If you provide a PoolMath share code, the app fetches your public share page from poolmathapp.com to import test readings and chemical logs. Only the share code you enter is sent. No credentials are transmitted.
Open-Meteo — The app sends your pool's latitude and longitude to the Open-Meteo API to retrieve weather forecasts. No personal information is included in these requests. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API that does not require an API key.
Leslie's — If you connect your Leslie's account, the app stores your credentials in the device's secure keychain and uses them to fetch water test results from Leslie's website. Credentials are never stored in plaintext or transmitted to any server other than lesliespool.com.
Analytics & Tracking
PoolDrift does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device identifiers beyond what Apple or Google may collect through their respective app stores.
Push Notifications (Future)
A future version of PoolDrift may offer push notifications as a paid feature. If enabled, your device push token and pool configuration will be sent to our notification server to evaluate alert conditions. This data will be used solely for delivering notifications and will not be shared with third parties.
Subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions will be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment and receipt data is handled by RevenueCat and the respective platform. We do not store credit card numbers or billing details.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app removes all your data. If push notifications are enabled in a future version, you can delete your server-side data by disabling notifications in settings or by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
PoolDrift is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
